The guest writes wherever they like
WhatsApp, Instagram (direct message or story mention), Messenger, SMS, or the contact button on your website. Heep receives the message within a second, on your restaurant's own number and accounts.
WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, SMS or the button on your website: your guests write wherever they like. Heep replies in their language, following your rules, and everything lands in a single inbox.
A WhatsApp during service. An Instagram question at 11pm. A Messenger on Sunday morning. Every app has its own screen, its own notification, its own queue. The message waits, and the guest books elsewhere.
Three steps, nothing for your team to do.
WhatsApp, Instagram (direct message or story mention), Messenger, SMS, or the contact button on your website. Heep receives the message within a second, on your restaurant's own number and accounts.
It recognises the guest if they've written to you before, replies in their language, in your tone and following your rules. A booking? It's written into your reservation software. A group enquiry? It's qualified, then passed on to your team.
Every conversation, whatever the channel, appears in the same place, on web, mobile or desktop. You read, you step in whenever you wish, and the AI pauses on that thread.
A guest messages you on Instagram on Monday, then on WhatsApp on Thursday: Heep knows it's the same person and keeps the thread going. Your team sees the full history in the inbox, with the origin of every message, whether it came from the AI, a team member or an automation.
Photos, voice notes and documents sent by your guests, bookings created in your reservation software, requests waiting for a decision from you, and the status of the WhatsApp window. You can assign a conversation to a colleague, tag a guest or answer with a quick reply. On web, mobile and desktop: see the Heep apps.
Every conversation is counted by channel, by hour and by outcome. You see what Heep handled on its own, what it flagged to you, and how many bookings started with a message.
We would rather tell you before the demo.
On WhatsApp, Heep can also send buttons, lists, a location or a document you've given it, your menu for instance, when the conversation calls for it. Email has its own page.
On WhatsApp, once 24 hours have passed without a message from the guest, only a message pre-approved by Meta can be sent to them. Heep shows this in the conversation and sends nothing that breaks this rule.
All the time, only outside service, or only at night. You can also pause the AI on a single conversation, a channel or the whole restaurant.
A sensitive request, an annoyed guest, a decision that's yours to make: Heep notifies you, pauses on that thread and waits. You reply from the inbox or the app, then hand back to Heep.
You explain your rules, your tone and your habits simply by writing it a message. It introduces itself as your restaurant's assistant and confirms it if a guest asks whether they're talking to an AI.
Not necessarily. Heep can provide a number, or you keep your own. In that case, the WhatsApp Business app stays usable on your phone and Heep works alongside it. The connection goes through Meta and requires your business to be verified, usually one to two days. Heep guides you step by step.
It's a WhatsApp rule, not a Heep one. When a guest messages you, you can reply freely for 24 hours. Once that time has passed without a new message from them, only a message pre-approved by Meta can be sent. Heep shows the status of this window in every conversation, so your team knows whether they can reply directly or not.
In one click, from the inbox or the mobile app. The AI pauses on that thread, you write, and the guest receives your message on their usual channel. When you're done, you hand back to Heep. You can also switch the AI off on a whole channel or give it set hours.
The guest's. Heep detects it from their message, their country code or your previous exchanges. Your team reads the conversation in the inbox and can translate it in one click to understand what was said.
It introduces itself as your restaurant's assistant and confirms it if a guest asks. The tone, the first name and the way it introduces itself are yours to choose. Heep never passes itself off as a member of your team who doesn't exist.
No. Heep first judges whether a message calls for a reply. A story mention gets a thank-you, once per guest. A sensitive keyword, such as an allergy or a complaint, or a message from an account with a large following, triggers an alert to your team.
WhatsApp, SMS, Instagram (direct messages and story mentions), Facebook Messenger and email. You can also add a WhatsApp button to your website.
Every message lands in a single inbox, on the web, on mobile and on desktop, for you and your team. Heep replies in the guest's own language.
Yes. Heep replies to Instagram direct messages just as it does on WhatsApp: bookings, opening hours, the menu, private hire. When a guest mentions you in a story, Heep thanks them once, without chasing them at every post.
Story reactions and messages with no real request do not trigger a reply: Heep first judges whether an answer is needed. You are alerted when an account with a large following writes to you.
Yes, Heep runs on Meta's WhatsApp Business API. Two options: we provide a dedicated number, or you keep your current one. In that case you carry on using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone and Heep replies alongside it.
Our team handles creating the account, Meta's verification (allow one to two working days) and getting your restaurant's name displayed. You do not have to find your way around Business Manager on your own.
Heep writes to you on WhatsApp exactly as it would write to your guests, with your hours and your rules. You judge it on the evidence, then start whenever you are ready.
